I really love this device! Yes, you get a wifi controller (tuya smart, smart life, hama; whatever you prefer) and you can control your rgb strip (negative controlled) and that's not all! Open the controller and you will find an unpopulated pinout for the white channel, so you can use this one too. But you need to swap red and green!
