The lid is plastic, the filter is a little getto, and the glass is thin. Actually the glass in the bottom was so thin that the fifth day I had it and was give it a little puch in the back to get the coffee gind out my hand broke the glass in the botton. These glass pieces was no more than 1 mm thick! So It's ok considering the price, and it can serve you well if you are very carefull. But I would recommend spending a little more money and get a better one.
