A generally well-designed analogue multimeter. With an accuracy around 3%, it's not truly "precision," but precision analogues cost more than ten times as much. When you receive the unit, replace the batteries immediately! The included batteries (one 9V and two AA cells) are old-fashioned carbon-zinc -- I replaced mine with lithiums to protect against possible leakage. To replace the batteries, "peel" the yellow rubber cover off the meter and flip it over -- there's two Philips-type screws on
