First of all, the device itself require 8 AA batteries, the remote require 3 AAA batteries. Included in the device was 120 sounds. All sounds are of a good quality. The device itself is good enough. The quality of the plastic is decent, but I dont think it will withstand a lot of punsihment. It is made of a fairly birttle plastic. so dont lose it on rocks and things like that. For the price of thet unit, its better than what i expected though. Removing one star because when I got the device the little cupthing in the middle of the speaker area was off. It is just superglued on, in 3 tiny places. It didnt withstand the shipping. But I dont think its needed, or it can be glued back on. Sound is very good on it, I didnt expect it to be as clear and good as it actually is. All in all, well worth the price. I reccomend it, especially if you want to try an electric caller. Or have a cheaper one as backup.

I have to agree completely with Racetrack RC, Cheap Plastic that my not stand the test of time, as my caller was delivered with exactly the same damage, but a couple of spots of superglue and all was well. Plenty of calls and seems to work OK other than the remote doesn't always connect or stay connected
