I had this charger for 9 months now and it works well. It may not be genuine, but it does the job as it's supposed. To address some of the earlier points raised by commentators who have used it a shorter time: - The charging and discharging current depends on the voltage. A 2S cell shall be discharged at more amps that a 3S cell. Because the unit gets HOT when discharging. (Really, where do you thing all that power goes? Heat. That's where the metal casing comes in place, it doubles as a heat radiator). So read it a "max" discharge current, not attainable with all batteries. - The unit does balance. It does it in a different way that other chargers you may be used to, but it does it. It does it better that the Phantom charger, for example. - My unit came well calibrated, the voltage display is accurate. Be warned you need an external adapter for this SKU. I use whatever laptop adapter happens to be nearby. The most valuable function is the "LiPo store" function. It has saved me time and time again from inflated or broken lipos.
