This is the perfect tool to play the electric guitar without amplifier. Simply connect it to the PC by USB port after that connect to him your guitar and headphone. I easly installed it on my PC without the supplied CD rom. The quality of sound is very good and it's funny to play the guitar hearing a backing track read by the PC. The price is low but it is really wonderful!

ASIO version on CD is ancient, does not support even Win7/64bit. After downloading and installing new version from internet, it works fine. GuitarRig is very old too, v2, while they are at about v5. However, I found amp and effects in V2 that I like, so altogether, I am satisfied, I use this interface daily to practice guitar, and also to record music.
