When delivered I was a little bit puzzled because the antenna coils shown on the picture was missing on the transmitter board. After googling I found that this seems to be the ok for the XKFST boards. It took less than 30 min to setup the wiring on breadboard and to get both Transmitter and Receiver working with my Raspbbery Pi 3. I was immediately able to control several radio controlled switches without any problems. The transmission range depends on the antenna (onboard is only a small PCB antenna)

the range of the transmitter is very good with a selfmade antenna. receiver worked only within a few centimeters but i haven't tried it with an antenna.
