It works. Right now on my TRX4 Sport i have a winch, added to channel 3, but its the channel 3 trim that does the work. it takes a little googling and thinking, but it works, and i can name the TRX4 Sport adn TRX in the menu. I do enjoy that the battery is chargeable via usb micro, which means that if you carry a batterypack you never run out of power, it sits nicely in my hand and its fairly comfortable. and when it says modded for 8 channels it does not mean it has 8 new channels, but it means that you can mod any buttons up to 8 different functions.
