First, the goods: - Cheap, light, good picture quality, superb light handling The not-so-goods: -1:The lens is 2.8mm, this means it has a VERY narrow field of view. I know nobody that flies that narrow a FOV. You almost certainly need to buy a replacement lens in 2.3mm or 2.1mm for best experience, which then makes this camera as expensive as the more premium cameras which already sport a proper lens. -2: CCD sensor is IR blocked, you need an IR SENSITIVE lens. Given how most cams are IR sensitive and use an IR blocked lens, you cant use these lenses interchangibly. -3: The holes to attach the camera to the camera mount on your copter are just plain, old, badly drilled holes into the plastic of the housing. Can strip easily if overtightened and arent perfectly straight. I had to widen them by first screwing in an M2 screw in, then a M 2.5, and finally an M3 screw. An M3 will not fit from the get-go. You most likely will need some sort of 3mm wood/plastic screw in 4mm thread lenght for best results. The cam though doesnt come with any screws, so you have to provide your own screws and tap the screw holes to you desired specifications yourself.
