The gadget arrived in good working order. However, I am quite disappointed with its performance. Frankly, I don't see how it can be used to fly RC models, especially racing quads. When used as goggles, the image is small and somewhat blurry, with the level of detail being very poor. It might be used in wide open spaces with few obstacles, but not in tight spaces and/or with lots of obstacles. It might be because I am slightly near sighted, but I don't use glassed and do quite alright. So I don't see how this slight nearsightedness affects the quality of the image so much. Unfortunately, the glasses I have will not fit into the goggles so I cannot say for sure. And the lens cannot be moved. Was going to get me a pair of small frame glasses for a long time, so this might be a good reason not to postpone it any longer. Will see how and if this helps. For the time being, though, I would consider it an almost total loss, but for one aspect. Namely, it can be used as a cheap night vision device. With a BW camera and some IR lightning it should do just fine in this respect.
