This is my first fpv goggles. I owned ev800 before, it's helmet. Disadvantages: 1) stock firmware latency is a total disaster. It's about 100-200ms. At first time i crashed a lot in my apartment because of it. Ev800 latency is good. Latest firmware fixed this issue, latency between me previous ev800 and this is about the same. 2) lens quality is poor: there is a dark spot in the middle of the image on each eye because of lens structure. Lens closest to the eye is concave and convex at the same time on one side (closer to eye). It is not notable during the flight. Notable when screen is black. Not whole image is in focus (center is sharp and edges/periphery is blurry or vice versa). It is impossible to set all image sharp. 3) stock quadversity recievers is really hot, it's image quality is satisfying. It drains battery really fast. I have uninstalled both recievers and swapped it with eachine pro58 (prix firmware). This reciever gives better image quality and also it's cooler. But it can't be controlled with goggles (you have to choose frequency on the reciever menu). 4) It is noisy. There is 2 coolers in this goggles, and one of them is always on (its cooling down the internals of googles). It is barely noticable when you fly outside. But annoying during simulation sessions. 5) to find the right position on the face you have to play with sponges and pads a lot, you'd better own a 3d printer to fit goggles well to the face. Advantages: 1) In spite of poor lens quality (you can set up satisfying lens position when it is not so noticable) image quality is great (comparing with ev800). Branches and wires are really noticable during the flight, even dust in air is noticable! When I flew under my bad first time in this goggles I was shocked to see the dust in the air. I am using foxeer montser micro camera + eachine txc23 vtx + speedy bee 2db antenna. 2) it is compact as goggles is. 3) 18650 battery bay has charger and battery indicator. 4) zipper case is useful.
