Laurie I have now had to replace two motors in mine. For the first one, I replaced the whole arm, but for the second, I replaced only the motor, and I found it's really very little more effort, as most of the work is in getting to the arm or motor to replace it, and then putting everything back together again. Both replacements have been completely successful. I have done many flights, but you have to accept these little brushed motors are under a lot of load all the time when it's flying, so they won't last forever.
