I purchased two of these pet feeders. So far, I am very pleased with them, EXCEPT that they need On-Off switches. I frequently go out of town on weekends and that is the only time I use them. When I'm home, I feed the pets myself. I am going to install switches in them to disable the motor when I'm home, but keep the clock operational. It should be noted that these units will work with either batteries or USB power. If you unplug them from the wall outlet, they still work. As they are sold, you must remove the batteries to turn them off.
