1,5 mm thick #80 grit evenly coated diamond disk - proves flat when just floating on my surface plate. Nice for coarse and precise grinding carbide and HSS tools when mounted on my lathe's faceplate (Tip: Cover the bed and all sliding surfaces to protect from grit if you do the same...). A similar one would cost me 3-4 times as much from a local retailer. Recommended!
