Be aware that the VCC and GND have been reversed on this product from models that I have previously purchased from Banggood. It is a great display, but due be aware of this change. On previous versions, the GND pin was on the outside while the VCC was next to the SCL. On this version, it reads VCC, GND, SCL, SDA. There is no circuit protection if the wires are reversed.

These displays work well. They have an area of Yellow Pixels at the top and most of the area is blue. The pin order shown in the pictures is: GND VCC SCL SDA. That's what I got when I ordered this batch. In the past I have also received units with pin order: VCC GND SCL SDA. Both work fine, but if you're making boards to plug these into, be sure that they're all consistent.

I've used three packs of five of these now and found them to be excellent for small embedded applications. The I2C interface is easy to use and saves pins over the SPI style although it is slower. I also like the yellow section of LEDs at the top. It's a good place to put information you want noticed.
