This plug has longer shank that will fit thru most cases without interference. Connecting wires to the Left/Right terminals is by tack soldering which seems to work OK. Gnd wire terminal is the usual solder and crimp to hold the cable in place. The wire opening on the shell is designed for large wire size, 1/4" or 7mm in diameter. Quality is good....
