This is far from a clean product. It's covered in a black powder that goes pretty much everywhere. It's not pure kevlar but it has an added fiberglass like product. It doesn't burn or melt though. I have a very short exhaust tube that i put this one and it was just enough for that. My hands were covered in in black paint powder. I used a sponge to try to clean my hands with it but that didn't work. Even garage soap didn't work as it usually does. I had to put my hands in soda, soap and hot water for
